Activities in the North West
See the event listings below for ways you can get involved. Email us to discover what else OPAL is planning in the North West region and other ways you can take part.
Our research
We are studying people's experiences of OPAL, especially in communities who have had few opportunities to engage in environmental science before.
If you have taken part in an OPAL survey then we'd love you to complete our short online questionnaire.
If you've taken part in other OPAL activities then please email us and we can provide you with a questionnaire to help with our research.
Research results
The results of our ongoing research will be communicated to other OPAL scientists, particularly to recommend any changes in the practices and delivery of OPAL.
Air survey - get involved
We're helping individuals and groups across the region to take part in the air survey. If you would like a free survey pack or help carrying out the survey with your group, please contact Jonathan Taylor on nwopal@uclan.ac.uk.
How much do you value Manchester wildlife?
We are supporting the Wild about Manchester initiative. Please take a couple of minutes to complete their online survey and let them know what you think about wildlife in Manchester.
