Restoring and Managing Old Orchards Workshop

This one-day workshop will cover various aspects of managing mature traditional orchards, including orchards and biodiversity, constructing an orchard management plan and restorative pruning.

It is open to anyone with an interest in old orchards and wildlife, but is particularly aimed at biodiversity advisors, conservation workers and volunteers and landowners or managers.

A substantial part of the workshop will take place out in the orchard and therefore participants are advised to bring suitable warm waterproof clothing and footwear.
