OPAL Explorers - complete surveys and claim a free reward

Register for an OPAL account and become an OPAL Explorer

Submit results for three or more different OPAL surveys and you can claim a free 'OPAL Explorers Pack'.

The pack consists of a notepad, pencil and magnifier to help you record local wildlife, and a few other goodies including a certificate and stickers for each survey you complete.

How to be an OPAL Explorer

  • Register as an OPAL user (if not one already)
  • Complete a survey, then log in and submit your results online
  • Keep track of your surveys on your My Account page
  • Once you've submitted three surveys, claim your reward (see below)
     


Already a registered OPAL user?

You are automatically an OPAL Explorer, so you can start taking part in OPAL surveys straight away.

Schools and group leaders
If you have taken part in three or more different OPAL surveys as a class or group then we can provide a larger class pack as a reward. Just let us know when you contact us.

How to claim your OPAL Explorers Pack

Once you've completed three or more surveys and submitted your results online, let us know using our contact us form.

Make sure you include your account username, full name and home address. If you are under 18 please ask permission from your parent or guardian first.

Please also tell us your thoughts on taking part. What did you enjoy the most? What did you learn? Has it encouraged you to get more involved with nature?
