Bryophyte field course

3 March 2010, Otley Chevin, Leeds, Yorkshire

OPAL ran a bryophyte course in March led by Gordon Haycock of the Wharfedale Naturalists Society.

Bryophytes are a group that include mosses and liverworts. They reproduce by spores, and do not have flowers or seeds. You will often find them growing in damp or shady locations.
