Insect identification course, Wakefield

This course gave beginners and intermediates the chance to improve their identification skills and learn about common British insects. The day also involved learning different techniques for finding insects - including beating trays and sweep nets.

The course was led by Bob Warburton from Sorby Natural History Society, and Graham Banwell, OPAL Biodiversity Mentor. The event was held in partnership with Wakefield District Metropolitan Council.
