The OPAL Biodiversity Centre, led by the OU, inspired people of
all ages to take an active interest in England's wildlife through the
development of new resources to help them identify and study
nature.

These resources included the OPAL Biodiversity Survey, launched
in 2010, the Neighbourhood Nature courses, and iSpot, an online
nature community that connects enthusiasts and experts.
